DuPont™ Corian® Used in Russian Hospital

DuPont News, - DuPont™ Corian® and Zodiaq® recently received hygiene certification from LGA QualiTest GmbH, signifying the excellent benefits offered by the surfaces. The certification also resulted in additional growth opportunities for healthcare and public spaces in Russia. “This certificate confirms that Corian® and Zodiaq® can be successfully used in healthcare environments where complying with hygienic standards is of utmost importance,” said Simon Langlois, director, DuPont Surfaces, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Corian® was recently used for the first time in Russia’s Transport Hospital in Novosibirsk. Thanks to the wide range of Corian® colors, Transport Hospital management was able to modify the typical “medical image” of the clinic and achieve a more modern look.

“We have been working with Corian® for several years, but this is the first time we used Corian® vertically on walls. The hospital personnel is back at work in the surgery room and are very appreciative of the properties of the material,” said E. Belosokhova, project director, ROSOR LLC, who led the facility renovation.
