Lycksele - Lappland Goldminers’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Lappland Guldprospektering AB, has applied today to The Mining Inspectorate of Sweden (Bergsstaten) for an exploitation concession. The Stortjärnhobben deposit, located on the Gold Line, is planned to be the second mine, after the Fäboliden mine, to supply ore to the central processing facilities at Fäboliden. Apart from Fäboliden and Stortjärnhobben, Lappland Goldminers is also working on a number of projects along the Gold Line, where there is potential for new discoveries.

– The exploitation concession is another important milestone in our efforts to become a producing mining company with several mines, with Fäboliden as a base, says Karl-Åke Johansson, Managing Director of Lappland Goldminers.
