Norsat and Atlas Telecom Announce Partnership

Vancouver, BC and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 02/22/2005 -- Atlas Telecom and Norsat International (TSX: NII) (OTC BB: NSATF) today announced that they have entered into a partnership agreement to address key markets in the Gulf Cooperation Countries (G.C.C.) region for Norsat’s flagship OmniLink™ portable satellite terminal family. Atlas Telecom will promote Norsat’s products in the region and provide Tier I, post-sales support to customers.

They are one of the largest satellite concerns in the region and they already have deep roots into many of the target organizations. The partnership agreement has been signed. Norsat International will provide ongoing technical assistance to Atlas.
