Hydromantis announces SimuWorks™, the world’s first water and wastewater treatment plant control room simulator

Hydromantis Environmental Software Solutions, Inc. (Hydromantis), the leading global provider of water and wastewater simulation software and consulting services, announced today the release of SimuWorks™.   SimuWorks™ is a flight simulator for water and wastewater treatment plants, an industry first.

Leveraging Hydromantis’ industry leading modelling and simulation technology, SimuWorks™ replicates existing treatment plant supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.  This provides operators a life-like training experience with familiar views and functionality but plant response and behaviour are driven by sophisticated mathematical models of their plant.

SimuWorks™ can be deployed as a life-size replica of a specific control room, set-up as a mobile training centre or used in traditional classroom instruction.  A library of specific plant models can be developed and offered to facilitate regional use.
