Vizrt Gets Pole Position at Australia’s Sport TV

Bergen, Norway, Vizrt Ltd. (Frankfurt Prime Standard, Oslo Main List: VIZ) announces today, that the new Oceania office based in Sydney has received orders exceeding USD 500,000 in its first two months of operations. The orders were generated from new and repeat business.

Vizrt has introduced Viz|Arena into the region with its sale to Champion Data, used to provide graphics to TVN, the Thoroughbred Horse Racing channel. This has enabled TVN to have virtual graphics and advertising placement directly on the turf. Being able to display advertising and sponsorship content along with a new way of visualizing their data driven graphics is opening up a new revenue stream for the network. The Viz|Arena enables TVN to display animated 3D regular and virtual graphics with replays including visualizing the tracking of horses. Champion Data have been successfully supplying sports data and Vizrt graphics including AFL and cricket solutions to many broadcasters.

Further orders from Sky Racing strengthen their commitment to having a complete graphics solution from Vizrt. Sky Channel has been successfully using Vizrt for their live on-air graphics and is now implementing the new Viz|Trio CG into their Studios.

Zspace has also increased its Vizrt software levels to renew its high-end graphics coverage of Rugby Internationals for the Seven Network. Zspace has been successfully providing several Australian broadcasters with Vizrt solutions for sports coverage from Motor Racing, to Yachting and Football.
