Ottawa Entrepreneurs’ Organization To Kick off Global Entrepreneurship Week with Respected Entrepreneur and 5-Time Former Presidential Advisor Warren Rustand

Ottawa, Canada (November 29th, 2011) – The Ottawa chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is pleased to announce that it will be kicking off Global Entrepreneurship week in Ottawa with an exclusive keynote by Warren Rustand.  Mr. Rustand is the Managing Director of SC Capital Partners an investment banking group. Warren was Chairman and CEO of Rural Metro Corporation, a $600 million, publicly traded emergency services company. He also served as Chairman and CEO of TLC Vision, the world’s largest Lasik eye surgery company.  He has served as Chairman/CEO of 6 other companies.
 
The common thread that permeates Warren’s experience is one of vision, strategy, and executive leadership. He has created, led, and grown many successful private, public, and not for profit entities.  He has a passion for family, entrepreneurship, public policy, and community.
 
The event is also a prelude to EO24, which will represent 24 hours of global entrepreneurial innovation and knowledge sharing and will offer real-time learning to help drive economic growth in 42 countries. From chapter to chapter, EO members will share their entrepreneurial wisdom around the world to inspire and support the next generation of entrepreneurs.
 
EO chapters around the world will conduct events designed to drive business take-home value around growth and innovation. Guided by the theme “Living the Values, Realizing the Vision,” these events will provide value to entrepreneurs around the globe and are designed to positively impact the entire entrepreneurial continuum, from college entrepreneurs and startups through established small businesses and large enterprises.
