Florida GPS Map shows Landowner Names, Property Lines, and Public Property

MISSOULA, Montana (November 8, 2011) - New mapping software designed for use on GPS units has been released by Montana Mapping & GPS, LLC that gives detailed landowner information for the state of Florida and also shows all property lines and public property.

“The statewide map shows all public and private land in a color coded system; designed for real estate agents, survey companies, and the outdoor community.  Our map allows the user to easily access the name of the landowner and property boundaries for all private and public property in Florida,” states Eric Siegfried, CEO at MT Mapping & GPS, LLC.  “Also included are the location of all public land such as State and National Forests, Wildlife Management Areas, National Parks and Preserves, and all other public land.  Other standard features on the map are roads and highways, 24K topography, water data, geographic names, campgrounds, trails, and township-range-section numbers.”

The Florida map software was designed by Missoula, Montana company, MT Mapping & GPS, LLC, who created a line of mapping software for the outdoor community known as HuntingGPSmaps.  These products are designed to let sportsmen know the location of public and private property boundaries along with landowners’ names while out in the field.  A key benefit of the map is having the user’s GPS location plotted on the map.  This feature saves time and the frustration of trying to do this task on a paper map.  The look and feel of the map makes it easy to compare the user’s GPS location to paper maps such as State, Plat Book, Forest Service, and others.
