SmartPhone App Technology Powered by CampusCurrent and CGA Ontario Arrives at Brock University’s Business Students Association

Toronto, ON (October 25, 2011) –  The Business Student’s Association (BSA) at Brock University’s Faculty of Business is proud to have become one of the first 8 Canadian business school councils to launch a new and innovative college mobile application that provides students with instant access to campus information from their smart phones. 

Patricia Bernardo, VP Human Resources, BSA, is happy to have CampusCurrent technology now available to all undergraduate business students. ”Using current technology like a mobile app is going to revolutionize student engagement within the BSA and Brock Business, can’t wait to download it!”.  Alyssa Freeman, President of the BSA is excited to be able to reach BSA students anywhere via the devices they know and love.  “Mobile Apps are the new way to communicate.  They bring information directly to our fingertips: on mobile devices.  With the addition of a Mobile App the Brock Business Students’ Association (BSA) can instantly communicate upcoming events and involvement opportunities to optimize the university experience”.

After downloading the free application, each commerce student will be able to instantly access campus events, academic dates, phone directory and news on their Android, Apple and BlackBerry devices.

This is a new mobile application to Canada, one which will be utilized by various post-secondary schools across Ontario in the coming months, thanks to the strategic sponsorship and alliance with the Certified General Accountants of Ontario (CGA Ontario) (www.cga-ontario.org) and the CampusCurrent (www.mycampuscurrent.com) Mobile Platform.
