Homeowners having trouble with stinkbugs may need to look at a chemical solution.

“Some homeowners use natural methods to get rid of stink bugs, but when things go haywire, chemicals are the last resort,” says George Moorecroft, author of “Getting Rid of Stink Bugs” (www.gettingridofstinkbugs.com).

“First,” advises Moorecroft, “it would be best to get rid of stink bugs while they are still young.” He says that the young stink bugs have soft covering so contact insecticides are perfect for exterminating them effectively. Look for pest control products that have Carbaryl, Permethrins, and Sabadilla.  These chemicals can easily seep through the soft bodies of the young stink bugs.

Moorecroft says that for adult stink bugs, it may be time to bring out the “big guns.” Look for high-grade pesticides like Malathion, Pyrethrin, and Endosulfan. because these strong grade chemicals can destroy adult shells.

If there is an uncontrollable invasion of stink bugs in your home, you can use these same chemicals.  Find industrial level insecticides like Diatomaceous earth and high grade Permethrins.  Other chemicals recommended for the prevention and extermination of stink bugs are Acetamiprid, B-cyfluthrin, Bifenthrin, Cyfluthrin, Deltamethrin, Dinotefuran, Fenpropathrin, A-cyhalothrin.

Moorecroft, whose book is one of the first downloadable solutions http://tinyurl.com/3rr8frc says that the best time to apply these chemicals in your home is just before the autumn season.

“Make this a part of your yearly plan to prepare your home from a possible stink bug invasion,” he advises. “Apply the chemicals on all the walls, crevices, vents, doorways, windows, and everywhere that might be a possible entry point.”

Always be sure to read the labels first so that you will handle them properly. Keep children and pregnant women away from the chemicals while your house is being treated.

Your fight against stink bugs may be a long battle, but with the right chemicals, you should be able to get rid of them completely. For more information about stink bugs and how to stop them, visit http://gettingridofstinkbugs.com/.
