Fort Wayne, Indiana, 6 October 2011 — Tim Straley, owner and founder of Boudoir Noir Superstore and BoudoirNoir online store is proud to support the “Scare Away Breast Cancer” benefit. Boudoir Noir announces that 10 percent of all costume and accessories sales in the months of September and October 2011 will go to benefit Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. Originally founded in 1944 as the Allen County Cancer Society, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana (as it is now known) has helped hundreds of thousands of individuals and their families to fight cancer and raise funds for research pursuing a cure. This important nonprofit currently serves Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley counties. Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana is entirely supported by charitable donations and 100% of the donations stay in the local community.

Each year its Client Advocates serve more than 2,000 people with cancer and their families. Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana is proud to have developed a nationally recognized program supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Mr. Straley is pleased to announce that this in-store only benefit will include both the Downtown superstore and the North Coliseum superstore. “Boudoir Noir wants customers to be able to be a part of this benefit, regardless of the store people shop at,” says District Manager Shannon DeWitt. Mr. Straley is doing this because it is important to help a cause that has affected women across the US, and that has also deeply impacted families. “Boudoir Noir always strived to help the community through fundraisers and benefits. It is important to give back to those who make Boudoir Noir’s existence possible” says Straley. Boudoir Noir in the past has raised money for the AIDS Task Force of Fort Wayne, the Allen County SPCA, as well as many other local organizations.

Boudoir Noir has become known in Fort Wayne not only for great customer service, but for having a very knowledgeable staff. Staff is there to help guide visitor decisions based on the function and features of the product and consumer needs. Boudoir Noir’s staff spends the time to research products and the manufacturers to ensure that the highest quality is offered at a fair and affordable price. Boudoir Noir also is constantly bringing in new items as these come on the market.

Boudoir Noir, in its two superstore locations, and BoudoirNoir online specialize in selling unique role-playing and holiday costumes, magazines, and really cute lingerie. Boudoir Noir and its online version were founded in the late 1990s, to provide a healthy and educative atmosphere for people living in northeast Indiana to begin exploring and deepening their relationships. Since that time, BoudoirNoir online has gone on to become one of the top online retailers for novelties nationwide, selling over 100,000 unique toys, lingerie, and costumes.
