Mattress Reviews Website qMattresses.com Launches Top Mattress Stores Ratings Section

Today qMattresses launched its Mattress Stores section, initiating coverage of six top retailers by market share. Currently, no “big box” or mega-retailers were included.

“Consumers seeking the absolute best in customer service and retailer expertise need to look no further than qMattresses,” said Christopher Fitch, Site Editor. “These are the biggest retailers by sales. According to the website, ratings are based on the retailer’s product offerings, the quality of those brands, mattress sales as a percentage of total sales, as well as Better Business Bureau ratings.

“While our website certainly aims to educate consumers on the product end with our proprietary mattress reviews, ratings and complaints, that only takes the consumer so far on their mattress buying journey,” Fitch elaborated. “The purchase process requires more than just product knowledge. With this section, we help steer consumers into the doors of the best retailers so that they can make the right buying decision.”

Fitch points to the website’s comprehensive Mattress Buying Guide, which has been updated and now outlines five key elements that consumers need to incorporate into their purchase decision. The original four elements include educating oneself on the product’s ratings, reviews, complaints and warranty specifics. The fifth element involves the retailer where the product can be bought.

According to Fitch, consumers who incorporate these five elements into their mattress decision will be far more happy with their purchase than consumers who rely on salesmanship and marketing.

“Far too often we see consumers who are extremely dissatisfied with a terrific product. This not only hurts the brand and damages the reputation of the industry, but it leaves a consumer stuck with something that doesn’t meet their needs,” Fitch said. “Our hope with the Mattress Store section and in particular the Buying Guide is to help turn these trends around.”
