Delphi Earns J.D. Power and Associates Award for Vehicle Multimedia Quality

Delphi Ranks Highest in AM/FM/Single CD Player/Satellite Radio Segment


Troy, Mich. — Delphi Automotive was recently recognized with a prestigious J.D. Power and Associates award for high quality multimedia system performance. Ranking highest in the AM/FM/Single CD Player/Satellite Radio segment of the 2011 U.S. Multimedia Quality and Satisfaction Study with an overall score of 3.4 PP100, Delphi performed near the top of all three segments, placing second in the AM/FM/Single CD Player/Satellite Radio/Navigation category.

The J.D. Power and Associates study evaluates owner experiences with quality, design and features of multimedia systems in their new vehicles. This year’s rankings were based on responses from more than 73,000 new-vehicle owners who purchased or leased a 2011 model-year vehicle. The study measures problems per 100 vehicles (PP100), with a lower PP100 score indicating higher quality.
