What better way to build an outdoor school than using an evolutionary, energy-saving building block.    The Klamath Outdoor Science School will receive a certificate from LOWE’S for $20,000.00 of block donated by Apex Block™.

Greg Gardener, Store Manager of the LOWE’S in Roseburg will present the certificate Friday afternoon to the Klamath Outdoor Science School Executive Director, Bill Hunt.   The energy-efficient blocks were donated through LOWE’S by Dale Siens, President & CEO of APEX Block™ to help build the Klamath Outdoor Science School.

Created in 2004, Klamath Outdoor Science School, a non-profit organization, provides kids a way to learn about science, nature and their environment in a natural setting.  Like the outdoor school, the APEX Blocks™ are unique and green.  Flame resistant for up to four hours, the blocks also have an impressive seismic rating.

Dale Siens, originally from the town of Klamath Falls, has been anxiously awaiting the start of the school’s new construction.   “I’ve always thought the school was a great idea, not everyone likes to sit behind a desk to learn.  I am happy to support such a unique learning experience for kids,” says Siens.
