Univision Communications Appoints Mark Dante Executive Vice President of Station Group Sales for Univision Television Group

NEW YORK, NY – – Univision Communications Inc., the nation’s leading media company serving Hispanic America, today named Mark Dante executive vice president, Station Group Sales for the Univision Television Group. Based in New York, Dante will assume his new responsibilities on September 6.

Prior to this appointment, Dante served as senior vice president of Univision’s Client Development Group based out of Los Angeles. He has held various posts at Univision including as vice president of Sales for Univision Television Group, and as General Sales manager and Local Sales manager for KMEX Univision 34. Dante joined Univision 34 in Los Angeles in 1998 as manager of National Sales.

Prior to Univision, Dante was an account executive at CBS Television in New York, where he represented the network’s owned-and-operated stations sales efforts for Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and other key markets. He also served as a local account executive at the ABC affiliate in New Haven, Conn. Dante received a bachelors of science degree in communications from the University of Connecticut.
