Clear Channel Phoenix Honors Local Military Heroes

Phoenix, AZ – Clear Channel’s Fox News Radio 550 KFYI and Sanderson Ford recently concluded the “My Military Hero” program with an awards ceremony honoring service men and women, including a drawing among the heroes for a 2011 KFYI-My Military Ford Mustang. “My Military Hero” was a year-long program that honored active duty military members. Beginning on Flag Day 2010, listeners nominated Phoenix-area military heroes.


Each month, a winner was selected and featured on radio station KFYI and also on a Clear Channel Outdoor digital billboard.



KFYI’s Mike Broomhead broadcast live from the showroom where military family members gathered for the heartwarming event.
