Duluth, Ga. – NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) today announced that Sean Fernandez has joined the company as senior vice president and general manager, NCR Consumables, reporting to NCR Chairman and CEO Bill Nuti. Fernandez succeeds Dan Bogan, who will retire from NCR Corporation after 34 years of service.

In this position, Fernandez will assume global leadership of NCR’s line of business that provides a variety of printing and labeling solutions for the retail, hospitality, financial and other industries, as well as NCR Direct, its online source for small businesses. NCR Consumables offers the latest innovation in receipt printing – two-sided thermal technology (NCR 2ST) - that simultaneously prints on both sides of the receipt, as well as NCR’s Receipt on Label printer and other print, label and imaging products for businesses and consumers.

“Sean’s industry expertise, focus on operational excellence and ability to drive growth make him the right leader to drive this business forward,” said NCR Chairman and CEO Bill Nuti. “The Consumables line of business complements NCR’s strategy and provides our customers with innovations such as 2ST and Receipt on Label solutions.”

Fernandez most recently served as vice president, new growth platforms, at Avery Dennison Corporation. He has also held senior global leadership positions with Sirva, Inc., a worldwide provider of relocation and moving solutions; Esselte Corporation, a consumer goods manufacturing company; and Arrow Electronics, Inc., a Fortune 200 electronic components distributor. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and computer science from Boston College.

“Some of the world’s largest brands rely on NCR Consumables to offer an enhanced experience for customers, drive operational efficiency and positively affect their environmental footprint,” said Fernandez. “I look forward to being part of NCR’s management team and continuing to build on NCR Consumables’ legacy of innovation that has brought unique solutions to the global market.”
