Second Annual Free Polk Street Blues Festival September 24-25th

Steven Restivo Event Services, LLC and The Polk District Merchants Association are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Polk Street Blues Festival. The free two-day festival brings live blues music to Polk Street from Jackson Street to California Street on Saturday and Sunday, September 24th & 25th, from 10 am to 6 pm, each day.

San Francisco is already known for its love of the blues and Steven Restivo Event Services, LLC produces one of the nation’s largest free Jazz Festivals on Fillmore Street in the city. Producing a Blues Festival has been a goal of Steven Restivo and the Merchant’s Association ever since the earlier SF Blues Festival ended in 2008.

The festival will feature two main stages, a merchant marketplace, arts and crafts, gourmet food booths, café seating areas, and much more. The Festival is expected to receive a lot of media coverage as it is now the only Blues event in San Francisco and it is free to all attendees.

In addition to live Blues from professional musicians, the Festival offers something for everyone from the dedicated blues purist, to gourmet food, arts and crafts and features two non-profit kids music projects, the SF Rock Project and the Bird School of Music.
