Global Imaging Systems Acquires Virginia-based Miller Technology Solutions

TAMPA, Fla. – Global Imaging Systems, A Xerox Company (NYSE: XRX), has acquired Miller Technology Solutions, Inc., a Virginia-based managed services company specializing in financial IT services.

The acquisition furthers Global Imaging’s strategy of creating a nationwide network of locally-based providers focused on improving document workflow and office efficiency for small and mid-size businesses. Earlier this year, Global Imaging Systems acquired Midwest Business Solutions, Inc. and Premier Office Equipment, Inc., both located in Iowa, and operations in Illinois and Florida.

Established in 2002, by Eric Miller, Miller Technology Solutions, Inc.,located in Chesapeake, Va., offers expertise in financial IT services including project management consulting, systems integrity evaluations and network management.

Miller will remain with the company as director of managed services. Miller Technology Solutions will become part of Electronic Systems, Inc. (ESI), a Global Imaging Systems company headquartered in Virginia Beach.
