Weyerhaeuser NR signs a $30M Global IT Transformation Deal with iGATE Patni

Winner of Weyerhaeuser’s ’IT supplier of the year’ in 2009 and 2010, for two consecutive years

Fremont, CA and Mumbai, India - iGATE Patni, the integrated technology and operations brand providing Business Outcomes-based solutions, today announced it has signed a $30 million contract to provide managed IT infrastructure service operations to the Weyerhaeuser NR Company, one of the world’s largest forest products companies. Weyerhaeuser operates in 10 countries and employs 14,900 people, primarily in the United States and Canada.

As a part of this engagement, iGATE Patni will leverage its world-class managed on-demand infrastructure services capability to help Weyerhaeuser’s IT organization respond to a dynamic business environment more efficiently and cost effectively. iGATE Patni will leverage its service delivery and monitoring platform to manage Weyerhaeuser’s server footprint across multiple sites and will also provide on-demand storage using a private cloud model.
