BRETTON WOODS, NH – The spirit of adventure is on the climb in the White Mountains with the debut of two new climbing activities at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. The recently renovated, historic resort in Bretton Woods, NH, has added an outdoor ”via ferrata” style guided climb and an indoor climbing wall to its already extensive roster of all-season recreational offerings at the Bretton Woods Adventure Center.

For a limited time, courageous climbers who mention promo code “BWCLIMB” from now through July 31st, will receive an extra ten minutes of climbing time for free with the purchase of 10 minutes on the Slopeside Climbing Wall or a 20% discount off the West Wall Climb. Climbers must mention the promo code at time of purchase or reservation.

Suitable for climbers of all abilities and experience, the new climbing adventures continue to position the award-winning Omni Mount Washington Resort as one of the hottest adventure destinations in the Northeast. Other activities ideal during the spring, summer and fall include the lift-serviced mountain biking, disc and resort-style golf, scenic lift rides, the renowned Bretton Woods Canopy Tour and more.

West Wall Climb
The West Wall Climb is a four-hour guided rock climbing adventure. Modeled on the “via ferrata” climbing experience, climbers of all skill levels are able to negotiate the low-angle cliffs by using fixed ropes as aid as needed. Each tour is tailored to meet the guests’ goals and experience levels, and previous rock climbing experience is not required. Located in the White Mountain National Forest on the southeast facing cliffs of Mt. Oscar - better known to the Bretton Woods skier as the West Mountain - these low-angle climbing routes provide open vistas overlooking the Pemigewasset Wilderness and Zealand Valley. Participants must be at least twelve years old and fit into a climbing harness. Daily morning and afternoon tours are offered June 25th - October 10th weather permitting. Prices are from $125 per person for two to three climbers; $175 for an individual. Special offers are available to overnight guests of the Omni Mount Washington Resort.

Slopeside Climbing Wall
The Omni Mount Washington Resort’s new indoor Slopeside Climbing Wall spans 624 square feet of fun within the lofty Bretton Woods Base Lodge. There are a variety of routes on the wall ascending to 26 feet with levels of difficulty from beginner to expert, as well as a 300-square-foot bouldering cave for those preferring challenges closer to the ground. Participants must be at least five years old and fit into a climbing harness. The Slopeside Climbing Wall is open seasonally, with summer-fall operations open July 2nd - October 10th. Prices are from $5 for 10 minute sessions for either the Climbing Wall or adjacent Bouldering Cave.

Seasonal resort rates start at $149 per room, per night. For more information or to make reservations at the Omni Mount Washington.
