Dieter Wemmer to leave Zurich by the end of the year

Zurich, – Zurich Financial Services Group (Zurich) today announced that Dieter Wemmer, Chief Financial Officer and Regional Chairman of Europe, has decided to pursue new opportunities outside of Zurich and will be leaving the Group by the end of the year.

Martin Senn, Chief Executive Officer of Zurich, said: “Dieter has made invaluable contributions in his many roles both in the business and finance functions. I want to thank him for his engagement and commitment during 25 years of dedicated and loyal service to Zurich.”

To ensure a smooth transition, Mr. Wemmer will continue to serve in both his roles until the announcement of a successor.
