COSTA MESA, USA — —At NCTA’s The Cable Show (June 14th-16th), NDS, the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, will demonstrate solutions to deliver a unified experience across platforms by addressing both next-generation and legacy platforms.

CableNET® demonstrations:

*CableNET: Content Protection
*NDS is supporting the CableLabs® Open Media Security (OMS) demonstration, to be showcased in CableNET 2011. Powered by the NDS Unified Headend, the demonstration will include a common service delivery and protection platform, an OMS-compliant downloadable conditional access system (CAS) and digital rights management (DRM) solution that enables the secure delivery of premium pay-TV content to multiple types of authorized (and subscriber-authenticated) devices inside and outside the home including an OMS-compliant production Cablevision set-top box (STB). The demo will also feature an OCAP™ Reference Implementation that supports CableLabs standard OMS interfaces
*CableNET: NDS Snowflake™ Mid-Tier MSO Advanced User Interface
*NDS will demonstrate a version of the its NDS Snowflake user interface (UI) specifically designed to provide today’s current generation of cable set-top boxes with a rich, uniquely branded look and feel with enhanced functionality such as unified search, OTT video and personalization. Using this solution, MSOs have the ability to tailor the appearance of the UI to reflect their brand and provide a template for a common but optimized UI across the next generation of STBs and other platforms such as tablets and PCs.
