Deliver Your News to the World Launches Online Scavenger Hunt Competition


As part of its four weeks of festival freebies promotional period, leather jacket and accessories retailer has launched an online scavenger hunt on its blog and across its Twitter and Facebook accounts. To join the hunt, visit the firm’s blog

The hunt, a first for the company, requires entrants to collect three pieces of information from the firm’s blog, Twitter and Facebook accounts and send them to a specially created e-mail address:

The competition lasts from 06.06.2011 to midnight on 17.06.2011. At the end of this period two winners will be selected, one male and one female, and each will receive a festival fashion survival pack.

The packs are worth up to £200 and include an on trend leather jacket, bags, scarves and accessories, plus some festival essentials like wet wipes, mints and dry shampoo.

Richard Arron, the firm’s Marketing Manager, explains the thinking behind the competition: “We’re trying something a bit different with the scavenger hunt, a truly interactive social media promotion that requires our fans and followers to get involved with the brand.

“We didn’t want to do just another ReTweet competition, we wanted something that would actually be fun for our customers, and we hope the scavenger hunt hits the mark.”
