Financial Recruitment Specialists Sellick Partnership Provide iXBRL Advice

Financial recruitment specialists, Sellick Partnership, hosted a breakfast seminar on iXBRL Solutions at Baker Tilly last week to support their clients, candidates and contacts during this governmental transition.

On 1st April 2011, HM Revenue and Customs announced new regulations which specify that they will only accept online lodgement of company tax returns, statutory accounts and corporation tax computations in a special format known as iXBRL.

Sellick Partnership therefore invited 60 finance specialists to an iXBRL Solutions Breakfast Seminar on Thursday 19th May. The seminar explored the new HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) reporting requirements and offered advice on the implications iXBRL will have on businesses and finance departments.

Chris Stone from HMRC, Jack Mansfield of Companies House, Gary Carrington from Baker Tilly and a team of Independent iXBRL consultants spoke at the seminar and answered attendees’ questions.
