Edgewater Celebrates Fuzzy Zoeller and Friends 2011 Event

Fuzzy Zoeller hosted the second annual Fuzzy Zoeller and Friend Golf Event at Edgewater on Saturday. Fuzzy summed up the event -“It was another great day at Edgewater. I played golf with 100 new friends and some old friends. Plus, we got out on the lake and cast the line for some fish.” The tradition of hospitality at Edgewater Golf Club was expressed through extraordinary service by the golf club staff and specialty catered breakfast and dinner by chef Sam LaVigne. Head Golf Professional Phil Lobeck organized the event and followed Zoeller’s service philosophy. "Fuzzy always says, if you treat the people right the rest will take care of itself.” Jeff Adams, owner of Helen Adams Realty participated in the event and affirmed, “the service throughout the day was extraordinary. We all had a marvelous time at Edgewater Golf Club.”

The sold-out event was open to Edgewater residents, golf club members and special guests of Tribute Homes. Other highlights of the event included a $1 million hole-in-one attempt and a special performance of the National Anthem by Miss Lancaster in honor of Armed Forces Day. Tribute Homes was a sponsor of the event and offered home tours of a variety of model homes within The Cottages neighborhood of Edgewater. Edgewater Community Director Bobbi Ann Helgeson commented, “as a resident of Edgewater, we always look forward to visits by Fuzzy Zoeller. He is a great entertainer at the golf clinic and is friendly to everyone he meets.”
