True Leads Business Network Convergence with Launch of "MPLS Data Networking Solution" over Cisco IP NGN

Targeted at corporate and SME customers, True’s new solution supports integrated data, voice and video services.

BANGKOK, Thailand, May 8, 2006 - True Corp. Plc., Thailand’s only fully integrated communication solutions provider and convergence solutions leader, today expanded its services portfolio for corporate and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers with its MPLS Data Networking Solution, a service based on the Cisco Systems Internet Protocol Next-Generation Network (IP NGN) architecture and IP Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology. The service will initially handle data but can also be used to offer voice and video services to business customers over a converged network. The solution is now available in Bangkok and other major cities in Thailand.

The True MPLS Data Networking Solution supports customers’ demands for converged networking solutions, and it is especially suitable for enterprises that view network connectivity as crucial for their business and that have branches in many locations. The MPLS Data Networking Solution offers two schemes of services: MPLS point-to-point virtual leased lines (VLLs) and MPLS multipoint VPNs. Customers can choose the best suitable option subject to connection speed requirements.
