Grand Online Opening for electronics store A.B. Infinity
A.B. Infinity, a small electronics e-store, marked Mother’s Day this year by launching it’s website. At the moment, it carries nearly half a million electronics for personal and commercial use, from laptops and netbooks to copiers and televisions.
The idea was born out of small town roots. CEO Alyssa Bean grew up in a small town, surrounded by local stores with owners who were truly invested in their customers and their products. She noticed that this was missing from her online experience. “I would order from huge websites, and while their products were great, that connection was missing,” she says. “Automated e-mails and robotic phone calls...where is the human interaction? As a child, I would go to the store to find people who knew me by name and really cared about me as a customer. I wanted to bring this feeling to a new arena--online shopping.”
And so, A.B. Infinity was born. A small, but personal, electronics e-store that strives to bring a small town feeling to the vast anonymity of the internet. It celebrated its grand opening May 8th, and provides a variety of electronics for home and commercial use.
