Europcar extends weekend opening hours

WEBWIRE

Europcar, the leader in car hire services in Europe for both leisure and business users, has extended its weekend opening hours across four branches. Now busy customers can pop in on Saturdays and Sundays, for the ultimate in convenience.

Traditionally car hire companies have closed after 1pm on Saturdays, forcing customers to use an out of hours service or take another day’s hire. Recognising that car rental needs to be as convenient as possible, Europcar customers can collect and drop off vehicles outside of the traditional weekend opening hours at the Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol and Manchester branches.

Customers are now able to collect and drop off vehicles from 8am to 4pm on Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

“Our extended opening hours at selected branches cover the entire weekend, offering customers more choice and flexibility,” explained Ken McCall, Managing Director, Europcar UK. “Europcar is the largest car rental company in the UK to have branches open on Sundays, reflecting our position at the forefront of the car hire market.”

Europcar offers the most flexible pick up and drop off locations and services in the UK, utilising a fleet including van hire, family and prestige vehicles. In addition to the extended opening hours for selected branches, Europcar’s key airport locations remain open 24/7.

McCall concluded: “As Europe’s leading car hire company our goal is to provide motorists with convenience, choice, simplicity and quality as standard. We are listening to their constantly evolving needs in order to be able to continually offer services to make their lives easier.”
