Icelandic Glacial Named Official Water of the 2011 Santa Catalina Film Festival

ÖLFUS, Iceland (May 5, 2011)— Icelandic Water Holdings ehf, makers of the award-winning CarbonNeutral® natural spring water from Iceland, announced today that they will be the official bottled water of the 2011 Santa Catalina Film Festival which celebrates independent film. Icelandic Glacial will be enjoyed throughout the three day festival which opens May 6th to filmmakers, film enthusiasts along with industry tastemakers and VIPS.

Santa Catalina is the only resort island on the West Coast of the United States, located in Los Angeles County. It is a perfect place for a film festival. Positioned twenty-six miles off the coast of California, for almost 100 years this beautiful sub-tropical paradise has been playground to the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Ronald Reagan, Robert Wagner, Natalie Wood, John Wayne, Cary Grant, Errol Flynn, Clark Gable, Jayne Mansfield and some of Hollywood’s biggest stars today.

Filmmakers from around the world will come to celebrate the art and entertainment of independent film within the historic walls of the world’s first-ever built sound theater. This gorgeous 1,200-seat theater is where Cecil B.
DeMille and Charlie Chaplin came to screen their very first talkie films. It is here where Icelandic Glacial will be headquartered for the 3-day Santa Catalina Film Festival for the Opening Gala, premiere film kick-off parties as well as for all other events throughout the festival.
