Oversight Risk Consulting Hires Mark Morgan As Chief Information Officer

BOGOTA, Colombia (May 3, 2011) – Oversight Risk Consulting announced today that they have hired Mark Morgan of Whitefish Montana to be their new Chief Information Office (CIO). Mark is an IT professional with 36 years of combined experience in all aspects to computers, including 26 years of commercial experience in a wide variety of IT roles.

Mark studied at both Harvard and at the University of California - Santa Cruz. He began his career as a programmer working for Diversified Computing and later for Applied Information Services, where he was eventually promoted to Director of IT. He left Applied Information Services in 1998 and cofounded an IT company, Silvertip Technologies, which specialized in technology solutions for the travel industry, including AOL. During this time Mark developed a fully distributed (cloud-based) Java based search engine which he was invited to present at CCGrid 2002 in Berlin, Germany.

Most recently Mark has worked as an IT consultant and Systems Administrator/Senior Programmer for The Zaneray Group. In 2005, he founded Spinning Cogs Inc., where he has been a system architect on several technology projects for clients such as Patagonia and Agron Inc.

Faessler added, “Mark will continue to work from his current location in Whitefish, which is ideal for us.” Oversight has its principle office in Bogota, Colombia. However, Mike says, “The hiring of Mark also brings us one giant step closer to our plans for opening our principle office in the Whitefish area. We hope to make this dream become reality during 2Q-3Q ‘10”.
