British Heart Foundation Chooses Globix to Pump New Blood Into Charity’s Website

LONDON, May 4, 2006 -- The British Heart Foundation (BHF) and managed hosting provider Globix (AMEX:GEX) today announced major enhancements to the charity’s Website infrastructure to improve online performance and reliability, helping enhance the user experience of BHF’s 450,000 monthly Website visitors.

The BHF, which is the largest independent funder of heart research in the U.K., is confident that online donations will increase significantly in 2006 above the 1.5 million Pounds raised in 2005.

“We are continuously looking for ways to improve the service the BHF Website offers to our visitors,” explained Randy Perkins, Web Development Manager at the BHF. “Globix offers a hosting solution that guarantees a 24/7 Web presence. Globix has designed and implemented a bespoke hosting and security infrastructure for BHF, using best-of-breed technologies and PRINCE2 project management methodology.
