Philips builds on the success of its ambiance accessories with a new range of atmospheric candles and spotlights

Milan, Italy– Philips has created a new range of lighting objects for the home that use advanced LED technology to allow you to influence the ambiance in your room, or orient light towards any area you want to brighten. The new Philips CandleLights and SpotOns are part of this collection of decorative and functional lights which have sleek designs, give you freedom to place light anywhere you want in your home, simply.



Following the success of Philips CandleLights and TeaLights, Philips has designed four new sets that imitate the light effects of candles, from their gentle flicker to their warm glow. The new Philips CandleLights add ambiance and atmosphere to any room while providing a safe alternative to a naked candle. The range has been redesigned using premium glass and Philips’ patented LED technology, meaning each light looks both authentic and stylish.



Whatever you or your family are doing, you can enjoy the soft glow of Candlelights without the dangers of open flames, hot wax or smoke. Not only are the Philips CandleLights completely safe, they are also cool to touch thanks to LED-based lighting. What is more, the weatherproof design means unlike conventional candles these won’t go out – perfect for a romantic dinner outside. They are even simple to turn on; just pick up the light and tilt it onto its side.

Activated by a smart motion sensor, you don’t even need to search for a switch: a light sensor means SpotOns will not come on unless you need it, making it extremely energy efficient, keeping your light working for longer, and using less power. As with all the Philips SpotOn products, the new SpotOn is a bright white light, but is now also available with adjustable brightness and 360°-directionable light, meaning you have even more freedom to point light exactly where you need it.
