Serene El Masri to join Deutsche Bank as Head of Middle East & Africa for Private Wealth Management

Effective June 1, 2011, Serene El Masri will join Deutsche Bank as Head of Private Wealth Management Middle East & Africa. Based in Dubai she will be responsible for the wealth management business for private clients across the entire region.

Serene El Masri will report to Marco Bizzozero, CEO of Deutsche Bank (Switzerland) Ltd. and Head of Private Wealth Management for Europe, Middle East & Africa (“EMEA”). Serene will be a member of the EMEA Executive Commitee.

Serene joins from BNP Paribas, where she was CEO Wealth Management Middle East & North Africa. Serene has a master’s degree in law from Sorbonne University. Besides her native Arabic and English, she speaks fluent French and Italian.
