DirectRooms.com – Attend Soul Music Comes to Manchester in May 2011

DirectRooms.com is pleased to announce that the Palace Hotel Basement, Manchester will be hosting the city’s European Soul Weekender in association with the Eurocultured Festival. This Rare Soul and Northern Classic event will be held on the 29th and 30th of May, and will feature some of the finest DJs Europe has to offer.

There will be twelve hours of soul music, starting on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm and rocking on until 2:00 am. The venue for this will be the Palace Grand Hotel Ballroom on Oxford Street, recommencing on Monday with a ‘Chill-out’ day at the Pure Space Bar (opposite Oxford Street on New Wakefield Street) from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The weekend will be a rare treat for vinyl addicts as the DJs will be bringing their finest music from the last few decades, as well as some surprises to keep the party going.

European DJs such as Marc Forrest (Hip City Soul Club, Germany), Liam Quinn (Beat Boutique, UK), Steve Cato (Soul or Nothing, UK) and Jorg (Sound of Soul & Recordshack, Austria) are just four of the dozen names lined up so far, with more to come.
