Medex Supply has secured a GSA Contract for Medical and Health Care Supplies

Medex Supply, a small, woman-owned business based in Brooklyn, New York, is pleased to announce that it has secured General Services Administration (GSA) contract V797P-4376B, valid from February 1, 2011 to February 1, 2016. The GSA contract will allow Medex Supply to distribute medical and health care supplies from five top vendors to government agencies at a discount. The five vendors are Riester, Brandt Industries, Harloff, Brown Medical Industries and Graham Field.



Riester is an international manufacturer of high quality diagnostic equipment, including otoscopes, ophthalmoscopes and blood pressure monitors. Based in Bronx, New York, Brandt Industries is a family-owned business in operation for over 70 years. Brandt specializes in exam room furniture, including medical carts, treatment tables and lamps. Brandt offers a wide selection of designer colors for their products and fast turnaround time for shipping.



Harloff is a leading provider of crash carts, isolation and infection control carts and narcotics cabinets. Originally founded to provide housekeeping carts to hotels, Harloff expanded their line to include medical equipment in 1988, focusing exclusively on it starting in 2001. Amongst other honors, Harloff has won an Allied Member Annual Distinction Award from the Health Industry Representatives Association, as well as Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
