“The 25 Deals in 25 Days promotion is designed so the total membership can participate and celebrate with us,” said Kurt Stache, American’s President of AAdvantage Marketing Programs. “With more than 50 million members and membership growing every day, the AAdvantage program continues to thrive because the focus is on keeping the program valuable and relevant to our members.”

Stache further commented that the innovative concept of offering every member the opportunity for award travel at a reduced level was American’s way of thanking its members for their business. “The 25-day promotion, which features a different AAdvantage partner every day, also allows our AAdvantage partners to reward our members for their loyalty,” said Stache.

“For 25 years, the AAdvantage program has been one of the cornerstones of our relationship with customers,” said Dan Garton, American’s Executive Vice President of Marketing. “We’re very appreciative of our customers’ business, and this is a great way to show it.”

From the very beginning in 1981, customers embraced the AAdvantage program. Garton noted that the AAdvantage program is the most successful marketing effort in American’s 80-year history. The AAdvantage program also enjoys independent, third-party recognition and validation. In October 2005, Consumer Reports magazine rated the AAdvantage program the best frequent-flyer program for coach award seat availability without paying extra miles for travel within the continental U.S. and to Hawaii.

“We are proud to sponsor these Celebration Flights to thank the members of the AAdvantage Travel Award program, and to honor how innovative American Airlines has been in rewarding their loyal customers for the past 25 years" said Heather Carroll, Director of Travel & Entertainment Industries Acceptance at MasterCard International.
