Online Tradesmen Directory Launched by B&Q and Screwfix

A survey conducted by B&Q and Screwfix involving 3,000 homeowners that showed a third of people generally struggle to find a tradesperson and 70 percent worry about getting ripped off by rogue tradesmen.

In response to this, B&Q and Screwfix launched JobSorted.com – a new online directory that enables homeowners to easily search for local tradesmen, totally free of charge. The website currently features over 200,000 tradesmen, offering live feedback and ratings from homeowners who have used their service.

The tradesmen directory allows homeowners to search by region and trade type, making it easy to find the right person for the required job. The directory relies on customers who have used a local tradesperson‘s services to log on and rate their work. All feedback is then displayed on the site so homeowners can make an informed decision.

In addition, the online directory features the registered tradesman logo ensuring even more peace of mind for homeowners. This is due to JobSorted.com working with leading Government approved industry bodies who keep up to date registers of tradesmen qualified to carry out work to the latest standards set out under Building Regulations.
