Rodney Lough Jr. Donates to Unicorn Children’s Foundation

(Portland, Oregon – March 17, 2011) — Rodney Lough Jr. - Master Landscape Photographer recently donated a framed, limited edition photograph to the Unicorn Children’s Foundation fundraiser held earlier this month in Palm Springs, Florida. Rubbing elbows with Honorary Host Donald Trump, Rodney mixed and mingled with celebrities and philanthropists at the 2011 Orient Express Gala, which was held at Trump’s luxurious Grand Ballroom of Mar-a-Lago. The prestigious gala boasted more than 400 patrons and raised over half a million dollars to support the Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s programs that improve the quality of life for children and young adults with developmental and learning disorders like ADHD, Autism, Bipolar, and Dyslexia.

Often involved in philanthropic causes, Rodney is very proud that his wilderness photography will benefit the Unicorn Children’s Foundation. Famous for his large format photographs featuring nature’s most spectacular landscapes, Rodney travels the country in search of the most remote and inspiring scenes to share with the world. As a father, he has a tremendous amount of respect for families raising children with disabilities and is nothing short of thrilled to contribute to such an admirable cause.

The generosity of the gala patrons will support Unicorn Children’s Foundation mobile clinic programs, as well as a unique high school for 14-22 year-old students with developmental and learning disorders.
