Online guide helps Safetyshop customers make the right safety sign choice

A comprehensive materials guide, designed to ensure customers of the UK’s leading safety products manufacturer, Safetyshop, make the right choices for their businesses, has been released.

Details of the 18 available materials are listed, and each description offers guidance on what environment and situation the material has been designed for. For example, when a durable outdoor sign is required and a top quality finish is a necessity, then aluminium could well be the material to use. On the other hand, if it’s a window sign that’s required, then self adhesive vinyl is perfect.

The new guide will make the decision making process even simpler, allowing customers to effortlessly match a safety sign material with a particular location and use. Information on material thickness and fixing is also provided.

Kim Slack, Website Manager at Safetyshop, said: “We asked our customers what changes they’d like to see us make to improve our range of safety signs, and this new guide is one of the results of that process.

“Our aim is to make it as simple as possible for companies to get hold of essential safety products and this new tool will make the process even easier.

“Our safety sign range is constantly evolving and we will continue to listen to the feedback of our knowledgeable customers, making sure their requirements are reflected in the vast range of products we offer.”

Safetyshop’s range of signs has also been updated to reflect the new ISO EN 7010 standard, which is being introduced in order to harmonise safety signage across Europe. With relevant safety symbols and images fully updated, Safetyshop has ensured that customers are able to comply with the very latest health and safety guidelines.
