Victoria, B.C. – TELUS will donate $100 to the David Foster Foundation on behalf of every new Optik TV customer who signs up in Greater Victoria in the next year.

“TELUS believes in the importance of community, of giving where we live. The TELUS team in Victoria is delighted to support Victoria’s own David Foster Foundation with a donation of $100 on behalf of every new Optik TV customer in our community,” said Ray Lawson, TELUS general manager for Vancouver Island. “Together, we will help raise awareness of just how vital organ donation is and help to raise funds to support families with children undergoing organ transplants.

The Victoria-based David Foster Foundation is dedicated to providing financial support to Canadian families with children in need of life-saving organ transplants and strives to increase organ donor registration through public awareness campaigns in Canada and the United States.
“TELUS is an incredibly community-minded organization and we are so thankful for their support. The families and their children that we serve will truly benefit from this campaign and we couldn’t be more pleased to be the recipient of this funding,” said David Foster, Chairman and founder.
