Congratulations to the top ten traders in last month’s official January Contest at WallStreetSurvivor.com. The contest ran from January First through the 31st. Each trader and investor was given the challenge to augment their virtual trading cash as much as possible. Those that increase their value the most by the end of the month win.

The top ten traders and investors were all able to increase their profits by at least 32%. The winners placing seventh, sixth, fifth and fourth received a 3 month subscription to Motley Fool’s Stock Advisor Newsletter, valued at $49. The investor winners were roger 78, Type R, Felix19 and leopard88. The trader winners were UIC, gomaxnow, gentlemanjack and laiswas.

The third place winner were awarded $100 cash and the second place winner $250. The third place trader was Bebeto and the third place investor was akarre. The second place investor was JuanValdes and the trader was fritz78.

Finally, users bluesnoopy12 and mrh2311andy received a cash prize of $500 for securing the top spots in the trader and investor categories, respectively.

Wall Street Survivor also awards weekly overall prizes and a random daily draw for any one that has made a trade that day. The winner of the daily draw will receive Survivor Pro Picks.
