Icelandair announces flights to Iceland from Washington, D.C. with Icelandic festival
Icelandair has announced the launch of its new flight service from Washington, D.C. with an upcoming Icelandic festival celebration, taking place February 24th – 27th 2011; Icelandair flights to Iceland from Washington, D.C. are to begin on May 17th 2011 via Washington Dulles International Airport.
The Icelandic festival event, titled ‘A Taste of Iceland’, will feature Icelandic music, film and food, giving those living in the Washington area a taste of what Icelandic culture has to offer.
As a strong supporter of arts and culture, Icelandair looks forward to strengthening the bridge between Washington, D.C. and Europe, whilst also bringing some of Iceland’s up-and-coming bands, best chefs and latest film releases to the Baltimore-Washington area.
