Safety, regulatory and technology updates all feature at the 13th Annual Applied Clinical Trials European Summit

Taking place from 17 to 19 October at the Hilton Amsterdam, The Netherlands, this well established information and networking event will update clinical trials professionals on the latest developments in drug safety, EU regulations and technologies for clinical research.

The conference programme, developed by a select Advisory Board of experienced practitioners, consists of a lively mixture of seminars, plenary sessions and workshops.

The ACT Summit will begin on Tuesday, 17 October with two parallel, full-day seminars. The first will explore the present and future of electronic data capture in the drug development process. The second seminar will focus on the implementation of the new clinical trials law in The Netherlands.

The following two days, Wednesday and Thursday, 18 and 19 October, will be divided between plenary sessions and workshops. The plenary sessions present broad topics including pharmacovigilance, regulatory issues and outsourcing, while the workshops deal with more specific issues ranging from subject retention, GCP inspections, performance metrics and trial design.
