TSX Venture Exchange Sets New Trading Record

TORONTO - TMX Group Inc. announced that TSX Venture Exchange established a new daily volume trading record on January 13, 2011.
Volume traded was 608,723,293 shares, which surpassed the previous record of 527,777,070 set on November 9, 2010.

Trading volume on TSX Venture Exchange in 2010 was almost 68 billion shares, which represents a 45% increase compared to 2009.
