Taxi Driver In Roseville California Stops Elderly Customer From Being Scammed
A taxi cab driver for a taxi service in Roseville California, TaxiRoseville.com, Prevented an elderly woman from being scammed. The 85 years old woman called on Donald’s taxi cab to take her to a check-cashing store to wire money through Western Union, however something seemed a bit fishy.
In a T.V interview with KCRA News, Donald was quoted as saying, “She’s an 85-year old lady and she’s sort of nice and stuff and I didn’t want her to get taken advantage of”
As a result of the Roseville taxi cab driver being alert and a conscious citizen, he prevented the elderly woman from being further scammed by a complete stranger. The Roseville Taxi cab driver contacted the local television station and the police and together they sent a message to the perpetrator that good law abiding citizens care enough about their customers to stand in the gap when something is wrong.
