Farleys Solicitors Highly Commended at Law Society Excellence Awards

Farleys Solicitors have been recognised with a certificate of High Commendation at the 2010 Law Society Excellence Awards. Gemma Vine, Inquests and Actions Against Detaining Authorities Solicitor, was Highly Commended in the Junior Lawyer of the Year category, it was announced at a gala awards ceremony last night.

Gemma Vine, who works at Farleys’ Manchester office, was presented with a certificate by Law Society Chief Executive Desmond Hudson to recognise her outstanding achievements as a Solicitor at Farleys.

Now in their fourth year, the prestigious Law Society Excellence Awards were developed to celebrate the successes and outstanding achievements of firms and individuals in the legal profession. The Law Society commented that they had received a ‘record number’ of entries this year, with the Junior Lawyer of the Year category having eight shortlisted nominees.

"The standard of entries received for the third annual excellence awards has been superb and reflects the high level of innovation that exists across the legal profession.

“Judging these awards was a real privilege and all the short listed entries should be extremely proud of their achievement. These highly commended lawyers have made the promotion of best practice an integral part of their work”.
