Experiential Learning Company Adopts Advisory Council

WEBWIRE

Greensboro, NC - Apr. 13 2006 - When a global provider of experiential learning solutions for individual, team and organizational development needed a competitive advantage in product development, they went to the experts: their customers.

The company, Discovery Learning, has adopted a new seven-member Advisory Council comprised of corporate learning professionals who are familiar with the Company’s unique business simulations, assessment tools and consultative services.

The Council is partly the result of recent customer research conducted by Discovery Learning which revealed a common interest among organizational development professionals in better collaboration with vendors. The Discovery Learning council will provide theoretical and practical guidance in the development of all the company’s products and services.

“At Discovery Learning, we make every attempt to stay in close contact with our clients and keep abreast of challenges facing the training industry,” says Chris Musselwhite, Discovery Learning CEO. “It’s our hope that the experience and wisdom we’ve brought together on this Council will help us continuously improve every personal and organizational development product we provide.”

The seven Council members, which hail from the education, healthcare, consulting and manufacturing sectors, are: Fred Bolivar, Organizational Development, Michelin North America; Larry Coble, Managing Associate, School Leadership Services; Joan Evans, Director of Training and Development, Moses Cone Health System; Claudia Fernandez, Leadership Initiative Director, NC Institute of Public Health; Cliff Hebard, Principal, CCH Consulting; Ancella Livers, Group Manager, Center for Creative Leadership; and Tammy Plouffe, Principal, Innovative Pathways.
