Alastair McKenzie Promoted To Senior Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs, Europe, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution

Burbank, CA - Alastair McKenzie has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs, Europe, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, it was announced today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television.

McKenzie, who moves up from Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs, Europe, will have an expanded role in all aspects of legal and business affairs for the division, supporting the licensing and distribution-related agreements for WBITD, the division’s branded services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the division’s newly established local production business. Based in London, he will continue to report to Renee Wolf, Senior Vice President, Business Affairs & Deputy General Counsel, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.

“Alastair has been a key member of the London-based legal team for many years,” said Wolf. “As our industry grows and our deals become even more complex, he will play an increasingly important role in each of our businesses in Europe.”

McKenzie has worked his way up through the ranks at WBITD having joined in 1999 as Manager, Legal & Business Affairs, Europe, being promoted to Senior Counsel in 2000, Director in January 2003 and Vice President in November 2003. He began his career as a solicitor at Herbert Smith.
