Spill 911, Inc. announces Absorbent Socks

(WESTFIELD, IN) — Spill 911 is excited to introduce our full line of Absorbent Socks. They are flexible so they can conform to just about any shape required. They are perfect for placing around spills and leaky machinery. Most Absorbent Socks are 3” in diameter and come in 4’, 6’ or 12’ lengths. Our Absorbent Socks are sold in three different varieties to handle all your needs - Universal, Oil-only, and Hazmat.

Universal Socks come in a grey color. They come filled with either polypropylene or corncob. These socks have a universal-application, which allows them to absorb oils, coolants, solvents and water. Universal Absorbent Socks dam up spills to keep fluids from spreading into larger areas.

Oil-Only Socks are colored a bright white. When the white is gone you know the socks are completely saturated. They also float for cleanup of waterborne hydrocarbons. Oil-Only Absorbent Socks capture oil waste from rainwater in collection areas to keep it from going down storm drains.

Hazmat Socks are colored safety yellow. They have the ability to soak up acids, bases and unknown fluids quickly. These socks are great for surrounding lab trays and lab equipment.

Sold as – 3“ Dia x 12’ L, 3” Dia x 4’ L or 3" Dia x 8’ L, Colors – Yellow, Grey and White, Composition – Polypropylene and/or Corn-Cob, Absorbency - Up to 390 oz. per package.
