Crown Relocations Wins 2010 Australian Furniture Removers Association Innovation Award

Crown Australia Awarded for Innovation and Safety

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, Sept. 9, 2010

Crown Relocations, a worldwide leader of global mobility, domestic and international transportation of household goods, and departure and destination services, has been awarded the 2010 Innovation award and the 2010 Safety Management award by the Australian Furniture Removals Association (AFRA).

At AFRA’s annual conference on August 20, Crown was represented by Paul Connor, national operations manager, Sydney, amid a large number of Crown Australia’s industry colleagues and competitors. There was an increase in the number of nominees this year and it was advised that the nominations far surpassed that received in previous years.

The Innovation award was presented to Crown for its development, introduction and successful delivery of the wellness program, called W.E.L.L.—We Excel at Living Longer. Crown won the Safety Management award for having successfully implemented two comprehensive programs related to occupational health and safety and its environmental policy.

In 2006/2007 Crown was winner of the 2006 Employee of the Year Award and the 2007 Removal Fleet Award.
